Alde Valley Suffolk Family History Group. Our aim is to promote the study of family history in East Suffolk in particular and to provide support and help for those wishing to trace their family history outside the area. We cater not only for those who wish to research their local family history but also for those now living in Suffolk whose ancestors were from out of the county.

The project is a four year Heritage Lottery Fund supported project run by RCAHMS. And involves the conservation, digitisation and cataloguing of 95,000 negatives from the Aerofilms collection. Can someone please tell me is it only me that is bafflled as to why Britain is broke and has a deficit of 9. 5 Billion pounds but continues to offer overseas aid and waste money on things that we cannot afford! Lets look at whats going on. We cannot afford to pay the soldiers who have returned from war. We are closing hospitals and cutting post offices. We are buying war ships that will go into mothballs as soon as they are made.
